The 1920s was also the time of Prohibition. Prohibition led to the rise of organized crime and the rise of one of the most famous gangsters of all time Al Capone. Prohibiton also led to bootlegging and to people making alcohol illegally. Many people bribe police officer so they wouldn't get caught selling alcohol illegally. There were shops that had backdoor/secret entrance to their shops were they sold alcohol.
